FOCUS …WarriorX Martial Arts Skill of A Champion.

A Technique That is Not Focused On A specific Target Has Little or No Practical Value. You Must Be Using Your Mind And Your Body For A Technique To Be Complete.

Focus is the ability to take a meaningless physical movement and turn it into an effective martial arts skill. You do this by developing the skill and ability of brining the mind and body together at a single point at a specific time.

So Focus can be developed by picking a specific point when training and ensuring you accurately hit that point every time you strike. Here’s a technique that I use all the time to develop Effortless Focus

Focus On Yourself In The Mirror, Ensuring That Your Techniques
Are Hitting The Centerline of Your Reflection in The Mirror

Firstly, start slowly and deliver the technique in a Slow Fluid Motion so your body becomes familiar with the technique you are wanting to develop.

Then, simply just Place The Technique in the centreline of your reflection and Recoil Fast.

• Continue by Increasing The Speed of the Extension and Recoil of your technique whilst always ensuring you hit the centreline of your reflection.

So As A Reminder… your Mind effects your Body which in turn your effects the Focus of Your Techniques to ultimately Increase the Accuracy in your martial arts techniques. So when trying to develop more focus in your techniques ensure that you ‘Focus’ your Eyes, Mind and Body on the Target you wish to strike! Start slowly and then gradually build up your speed of movement.
